Haiku

As my third grader is learning about Haiku (poem made out ouf 5 - 7 - 5 syllables format), I attempted one myself:

"The innate knowing.

Connecting with higher self.

Awakened body."

Here's her take on Haiku:

"I smell a rodent.
Stink and hiding in my cup.
Scream, shout, out the door."
